About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled CMS Specialist to build, manage, and optimize websites across platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, and Webflow. You’ll play a key role in enhancing site functionality, user experience, and performance, blending technical skills with a creative touch to deliver visually appealing, user-friendly sites aligned with brand goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Design visually appealing and user-friendly sites that align with brand goals; configure themes, layouts, and custom features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Update and organize content to meet brand and SEO standards, managing blog posts, product pages, and more.
- Oversee product listings, set up payment gateways, and enhance user experience on Shopify and WooCommerce.
- Implement SEO best practices, optimize load speed, and monitor site performance with tools like Yoast.
- Resolve technical issues, manage plugins, and conduct site audits for a smooth user experience.
- Collaborate on design improvements, ensure mobile responsiveness, and conduct user testing.
- Apply updates, manage backups, and ensure compliance with GDPR and ADA standards.
- Integrate Google Analytics, report on traffic and engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience across CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, etc.) with a portfolio of work.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SEO tools; experienced with e-commerce platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, excellent organization, and an eye for design.
